The Necromancer’s Daughter

Samantha Marten doesn’t fit. Proper British wizards look down on necromancers. All that cutting open corpses and treating with spirits and demons is unseemly. No one ever invites a necromancer over for tea. It doesn’t help that Sam is half-Sidhe. She’s used to being alone.

When her father is killed during his investigation of a murder, Sam steps forward to protect her younger sister, Anna, and their mother. Ruined, their house collapsed into rubble, the family is destitute and Sam gives up her dream to attend Oxford University. Before long, Anna runs off with Nathan Blithe to London. Infuriated and terrified, Sam searches for her sister but a powerful spell hides Anna. After months of failure, Sam turns to her last option to break the spell – a demon.

Now, Sam must negotiate the price.
