Wild Hart

For a soldier, coming home is the hardest part of a war.

Colonel William Hart is a soldier, a lord, and a murderer. For a decade he sated his bloodlust on the battlefields of Europe but now the wars are over. Napoleon is imprisoned on Elba and William has returned to England hoping to keep his demon chained inside his soul. He can never let it loose again. A promise a decade old. A promise made on his sister’s grave.

His resolve is immediately tested when he is summoned home to Hereford to help his oldest friend, Philip. The thought of returning to where he murdered his sister terrifies him. For Philip, however, he would face anything.

Philip’s sister, Jane, and her daughter were attacked by a werewolf and are missing. Philip needs William’s help to hunt and kill this new werewolf and save his sister and niece. A decade ago, they hunted the last werewolf that terrorized Hereford, William’s sister Elizabeth. With her death Philip lost the love of his life.

All these years, William has never told Philip his greatest secret – he’s a werewolf too.

He chained the wolf deep inside with duty and honour. He tamed his primal self and became a gentleman. An officer. The bloodlust could be controlled but never banished. Now, a crippled man broken from years of war, he will have to call on the strength of the demon to hunt this new werewolf. The question that haunts him is whether he can control it once he loosens the chains.
